class IV rapids anyone?

Here's the Iowa River today at the Burlington Street bridge. I wouldn't be surprised if they close the bridge down tonight as they're expecting the river to rise an additional 4-5 feet tonight. Yeah, feet.

Again, it would take a lot of water for our home to be affected by flooding, but I imagine we'll experience the other effects of the flood like loss of power and possibly water.
I'll post more pictures in a bit and tell you all about our 2 hour walking adventure!
